Mewakili Korea, grup idola SS501 semua melakukan kegiatan solo mereka. Kim Hyun Joong berpartisipasi dalam akting, Park Jung Min dan Kim Hyung Jun telah merilis album solo mereka sendiri. Heo Young Saeng dan Kim Kyu Jong keduanya telah menandatangani kontrak bersama dengan sebuah perusahaan baru, dan bahkan mengadakan fanmeeting mereka bersama-sama. Baru-baru ini Heo Young Saeng juga merilis album solo sendiri.
"Hampir 1 tahun, karena aku percaya perusahaanku saat ini, sehingga aku memilih untuk mengubah perusahaanku sebelumnya. Selama periode aktivitas SS501, kami telah bekerja sama sebelumnya. Sekarang aku di perusahaan sama dengan Hyori Lee noona, tapi karena jadwalnya yang sibuk, sehingga kami hanya bertemu satu sama lain dua kali. Dalam hal ini aku merasa menyesal. Selama saat Heo Young Saeng menjalani periode kegiatan SS501, karena vokalnya yang luar biasa yang diakui oleh semua orang membuatnya menonjol. Young Saeng juga secara alami mengatakan bahwa posisi imagenya ini sehingga diakui karena hal itu. Tapi album ini menampilkan vokal luar biasa dan bakat musiknya. Judul lagu "LET IT GO" adalah sangat unik dengan melodi tari yang hidup, yang menampilkan Hyuna member 4minute yang berpartisipasi dalam rekaman.
"November lalu masuk ke perusahaan baru, mulai mempersiapkan album baru. Mulai memproduksi album pada Februari. Jika respon album ini baik, kami akan memulai rencana beraktivitas di luar negeri / promosi. Tentu saja, harus menyanyi. Kali ini, "LET IT GO" akan menampilkan comeback stage-ku dengan 6 penari. Aku sangat berterima kasih kepada Hyuna karena membantuku tampil dalam laguku, tapi sepertinya fans cemburu."
Pada perilisan album 12 Mei, selain lagu utama, album ini juga terdiri dari lagu "OUT THE CLUB" yang diproduksi oleh Tae Hwan yang juga memproduksi album RAIN, irama retro tapi penuh rasa modern "I'M BROKEN" dan juga "RAINY HEART" menampilkan Kyu Jong di bagian rap.
Selama proses persiapan album, Heo Young Saeng patah tulang tangan kanannya ketika berlatih tari, tidak ada pilihan lain kecuali menunda perilisan albumnya. Meskipun dia belum sepenuhnya pulih, dia masih bersikeras untuk melanjutkan promosi. Tidak hanya kegiatan musik, ia juga berpartisipasi dalam syuting variety show penuh semangat. "During last Nov entering into the new company, start preparing for the new album. Only start album production in this Feb. If the response for this album is good, we will only start the plan for overseas activities/promotions. Of course, must sing. This time, "LET IT GO" comeback stage will showcase me and my 6 dancers. 12 May during the releasing of the album, other than the main title song, the album also consist of the song "OUT THE CLUB" which was produced by Tae Hwan who also produced RAIN's album, retro beat but full of modern feel "I'M BROKEN" and also "RAINY HEART" featuring Kyu Jong for the rap part.
During the process of the album preparations, Heo Young Saeng fratured his right hand while practicing for his dance, no choice but to delay the release of his album. Even though he has not fully recover, he still insist to go on with the promotions. Not only music activities, he also participated in all the recordings of the variety shows vigorously. We can see that Young Saeng is totally immersed in the album promotions with his energy and passion.
As a member of SS501, Heo Young Saeng stated: "Now that everyone of us will give each other encouragement. Currently it is hard for us to re-group together, but we will discuss this matter next year. Now the aim is to concentrate in promoting my own solo album. The only word which I can introduce my album is "Change of image", put aside the image that I have SS501, everyone will know after they have seen it."
