Heo Young Saeng solo "LET IT GO", sementara waktu mengesampingkan SS501
Mengikuti Kim Hyun Joong, Park Jung Min dan Kim Hyung Jun, member SS501 Heo Young Saeng memulai aktivitasnya sebagai penyanyi solo.
Setelah vakum selama 1 tahun, dia merilis album solo pertamanya "LET IT GO" dan kembali ke sisi fans. Untuk pertama kali tampil di panggung sebagai solois, pada kenyataannya dia cukup tertekan tapi Young Saeng tetap memberi senyum mautnya.
"Merasa stres, tidak tahu apakah bisa melakukan hingga akhir. Untuk pertama kalinya menggunakan namaku sendiri, merasa sedikit gugup berdiri panggung, namun aku tetap menikmati perasaan ini."
Seperti dikatakan, debut album perdana ini terhenti dalam proses pembuatan album yang diproduksi oleh perusahaan karena perbedaan pendapat.
Awalnya album debut hys seharusnya dirilis Februari. Tetapi karena tidak ingin terburu-buru dan hati-hati dalam produksi album, oleh karena itu perilisan album ditunda. Selama proses tsb, Young saeng "perang" sengit dengan perusahaannya karena perbedaan ide dan pendapat saat menerima dan merekam lagu.
"Jika lanjut menurut ide yang ditetapkan, tidak akan sukses" harus menerobos dari yang diharapkan, dengan lagu dance sebagai lagu utama untuk solonya, Heo Young Saeng mendengarkan nasehat dari perwakilan perusahaan.
"Sesuai dengan ide dan setelah menetapkan judul lagu, lalu mulai melakukan yang terbaik untuk koreografi lagu ini." Itulah bagaimana lagu berjudul "LET IT GO" muncul. Lagu ini bisa menunjukkan hasrat Heo Young Saeng pada tarian. Sebagai vokalis utama SS501, banyak yakin judul lagu Young saeng pastilah akan menunjukkan kekuatan menyanyi balada, namun "LET IT GO" mematahkan pemikiran orang-orang. "Jika 10 orang ditanya, akan ada 8 orang bilang bahwa kau akan menyanyikan lagu balada, karena hal ini, kami ingin mematahkan konsep yang orang pikirkan, jika kami tidak menerobos konsep ini tidak ada kesempatan menang."
Saat Heo Young Saeng latihan dance, tangan kanannya menghantam cermin di ruang latihan tari, menyebabkan patah tulang, sehingga butuh 4 minggu penyembuhan. walaupun cedera ini membuat album ditunda, tapi Young saeng tetap optimis: "Dengan penundaan ini, nyatanya bisa memberiku lebih banyak waktu untuk persiapan lebih baik."
Meskipun dia sangat rindu saat-saat bersama 5 member, tetapi 5 bersama sebagai 1 sedikit tertunda. "Sekarang tiap orang berada di perusahaan yang berbeda-beda, walaupun kami punya ide untuk bersama kembali, namun hal itu mudah dikatan daripada dilakukan. Setelah kegiatan solo kami benar-benar berakhir, kami akan menetapkan tahun depan untuk membahas masalah khusus ini."

Even though his injuries caused the album to be delayed, but Young Saeng still remains optimistic: "With this delayed, in fact it can give me more time to be better prepared."
Although he really miss the times when the 5 members are together, but the 5 together as 1 will be slightly delayed. "Everyone now is with different companies, although we have idea of coming together again, but it is easier said than done.
